Good morning Matt and everyone, Thank you for the question, as it’s certainly an important one. While I understand your concerns of logistics when it comes to a vote like this, I can assure you that we at HQ can and will support the MABC as they led the selection and election process they have articulated here. With the varied types of technology designed to assist in these matters, I believe any logistic questions will ultimately be non-issues. Further, I highly recommend that the Board actually have as limited involvement and input in this process as possible, as should HQ outside of any legal advice or process support. The membership wishes to have a greater voice in presenting its ideas and concerns. To have the board suggest a process that is anything less than full participation and representation in selecting its representative will likely work to frustrate the community further. The MAB is designed to represent and articulate the voice of the entirety of the community, and should be allowed to do exactly that. That means one member, one vote. I highly and very enthusiastically endorse this plan. I’m happy to discuss this further as the board may require.
