Good afternoon. I hope that this note finds you well. I am way behind in getting this email circulated (it seems that running late is the only exercise I am getting recently) - but I am hoping that it is never too late to spread this annual Christmas message of hope and that my tardiness will not impact your continued generosity. The girls and an army of kind-hearted friends, classmates and teammates have embarked on another season of caroling activities on behalf of Make-A-Wish. So far they have raised more than $8,250 this year through their caroling efforts outside of our parish, in local shopping centers and in Philadelphia's LOVE Park (pictures are attached). Their efforts continue to inspire others to get involved and help spread the word of the mission that Make-A-Wish has to provide hope and comfort to children and their families who are battling serious and life-threatening illnesses.

Unfortunately, despite great progress in technology and medicine, the demand for and cost of wishes continues to grow each year. Your kindness and generosity over the years in support of the carolers have made it possible to make a wish come true for more than two dozen children battling with serious illnesses. We hope you can continue to support the carolers, Make-A-Wish and the brave children who are the beneficiaries of your kindness and generosity. This year, for your convenience, we have set up a new webpage where you can make donations on-line. https://secure2.wish.org/site/TR?team_id=18829&fr_id=3118&pg=team#.XBqA8GhKg2y (so far all the $8,250+ in donations have been in cash or checks sent directly to me so do not be discouraged by the $0 seen on the website).

I hope you will take a moment to share the link to our Make-A-Wish fundraising webpage with anybody that you think may be interested in making a child's wish come true this year. I hope you can help us spread this message of love, hope and recovery to a much larger audience this year so that collectively we can raise more money, help more children and do more good.

I also encourage you to open and read the attached flier that provides more information about the carolers' remarkable story and the power of a wish. We will of course accept donations of checks or cash if you wish to mail it to me at the address listed in the flier and below. Thank you again for all of your love, friendship and support of our family and the carolers over the years - and for all that you do to make this world a better place.
