Good Afternoon, I hope you are all doing well! While we have just started the winter season, planning has already begun for the spring ☺ The seniors are primed and ready for another successful campaign and want another banner to hang next to our 2018 Regular Season Co-Championship! In order to prepare us for the season, we will again have winter opportunities to play so that we can hit the ground running in February! Adding these sessions before the spring season helped put us at an early advantage last year and will let us focus more on the tactical aspects of the game, rather than the technical. Indoor pickup will be on Monday or Tuesday evenings and lifting will be on Wednesday mornings. *See attached PDF with specific dates and times. We will start once exams are over and run until the start of the season, giving us a total of 5 sessions each (Jan 22nd-Feb 20th). Both options are VOLUNTARY, but encouraged. Keep in mind this DOES NOT REPLACE your PE class if you have it on Wednesdays. This is an additional opportunity to work on strength and quickness with your teammates. Pickup is for athletes who ARE NOT playing a competitive SFS winter sport. If you are unable to come, your coaches would expect that you are doing some work on your own. If you need ideas, please feel free to stop down to my office or email me! I am coaching swimming this winter, but the season will end by Feb 9th. I am happy to do individual or some group work after school (for those 2 weeks) before the season starts on Feb 25th. Also attached is our Spring Schedule. Please plan ahead so that you can be present for ALL games. If you already know of a conflict, please let me know ASAP. Stay tuned for a team gear email to come out before the winter holiday!
