Subject: Georgia Primary Election Results

Congratulations to Former Dougherty County District Attorney _Ken Hodges_,
who last night won the Democratic primary for Attorney General of Georgia.
Hodges defeated State Representative Rob Teilhet garnering 66% of the
primary vote.

Hodges was supported by multiple local newspapers, county sheriffs, district
attorneys and a former United States Attorney. Hodges has pledged to focus
on consumer protection, criminal investigations and prosecutions in the fall
campaign. To find out more about Ken Hodges and the Georgians for Hodges

with his campaign to organize a candidate call in the near future and we
will keep you posted on when that call will take place.

Hodges will ultimately face the winner of an August 10^th Republican runoff
between Cobb County Commission Chair Sam Olens and State Senator Preston
Smith.

Let us also extend congratulations to Attorney General Thurbert Baker, who
has served the people of Georgia with distinction since 1997. General Baker
came up short in his bid for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination against
former governor Roy Barnes. DA Hodges will have very big shoes to fill and
DAGA looks forward to working with him for the next three and half months to
make sure he wins the opportunity to do exactly that for the people of
Georgia.
