ARRIVAL INFORMATION FOR BIDEN TRIBUTE: Please arrive by 2:30 pm.


*If you are being dropped off by a cab or driver, the closest dropoff point is marked as the yellow taxi on the attached map.*


*If you are driving yourself, the entry point is also the yellow taxi on the attached map. Pull up to the barricade and tell the officers you are a guest of the Vice President's office and have been cleared to park by the Sergeant at Arms. Capitol Police will sweep your vehicle and direct you to a parking spot. Then follow the directions below.* If you want to drive and park your car in the Capitol parking lot, we need make, model, color, year, and plate state and # by NOON TODAY.


The closest entrance to the Senate Gallery is the North Door of the Capitol, which is marked as the Capitol Police badge on the attached map. It is a small white outbuilding manned by Capitol Police Officers. As you are approaching the North Door, call me at 202-503-5315 or Stephen Goephert at 202-50-5341.


Tell Capitol Police manning the North Door that you are headed to S 212, the Vice President's Office, and you will be allowed to enter the screening facility there. Please note that food and drink are not permitted in the Capitol unless medically necessary. Once you pass through the screening facility, proceed up the ramp and into the Capitol itself, where you will be stopped by staff at the Appointments Desk to get a visitor badge. You will be on our guest list, but you must show your ID to the staff at the desk to get a badge. Stephen and I will be there to escort you to the gallery.


Please note that you will have to pass through screening one more time before entering the gallery. You must check all personal belongings, including purses and cell phones, before entering the gallery at the secure checkstand located just outside the gallery doors.
