Hunter and Eric,

I'm checking in after a long hiatus for the last 24 months in building the
school, and transforming our dream into a reality for boys in Baltimore.
We are well on our way toward major success, with nearly 300 boys in grades
4-7,, 36 staff members, strong first year public testing results, and
growing approval from families and other stakeholders.

First, thank you for your early support both financially and by your
commitment of time and interest.

Second, we have arranged a White House visit for our boys next Friday,
December 16th. It's an East Wing for the holiday visit. We would love a
photo op with the Vice President. 15 boys and three adults will be on this
visit. If not a photo op, can we get a special tour of the West Wing. I
know this is a big ask but I can't miss asking for this great opportunity
for our boys. It's also ok to say no. I can imagine everyone is very busy
with the transition.

Third, it's been too long. I need to set up some time for a lunch with you
both.
