I wanted to take a brief moment to invite you to a very special breakfast fundraiser for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. On September 15, at 7:45 am at the Hyatt Regency, Senator Reid will be joined by 16 members of the 2006 and 2008 Senate classes - the classes that regained and secured the majority for Senate Democrats.

This will be one of our last events in Washington, DC before the election in November. I encourage all of you to attend and to pass this invite along to your clients and colleagues. We want this event to be a great one.

Hosts will be given priority seating, which is limited, so please RSVP to me (jake@harryreid.com) or Josh Alcorn (josh@harryreid.com) as soon as possible.

Additionally, this event will benefit the Reid Victory Fund, a joint committee between Friends for Harry Reid and the Nevada State Democratic Party (Federal Account). This allows you or your PAC to contribute even if you've maxed out to Friends for Harry Reid.

Contributions or gifts to Friends for Harry Reid are not tax deductible.

Contributions to Reid Victory Fund will be allocated as follows: The first $2,400 of each contribution from a person and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee will be allocated to Friends for Harry Reid. The first $2,400/$5,000 of a person's/multicandidate committee's contribution will be considered designated for the general election. The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $15,000 of each contribution from a multicandidate committee will be allocated to the Nevada Democratic Party Federal Account. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
