Dear Parent:It’s heartening to hear young people express appreciation for others.It’s doubly so when they want to share the good things in their lives, like their teachers.You can hear Sidwell Friends students talk about their teachers with gratitude and admiration in the latest episode of our Everyday Heroes videos, now playing at sidwell.edu/everyday heroes.We are excited to share that we have a special challenge for Sidwell Friends parents. If we reach 80% parent participation in the Annual Fund by December 31, 2016, all students will receive a special treat at lunch one day in January.Making a gift is a way to show your appreciation for our students’ hard work, as well as that of their teachers.A gift or pledge of any size counts toward the 80% goal. We are now at 46% participation.
