As means of introduction, I serve as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Vice President of Small Business Policy. New businesses are vital to our country's economic growth but many policymakers don't know about the great, new startups launching every day in their states and districts. Startup Week Across America (August 20-24) is an opportunity for Senators and Representatives to learn more about local startups and discuss the important role entrepreneurs play in our economy.

Startup Week isn't the only time to connect with your Members of Congress: help us continue the conversation (https://bit.ly/2JQ23mq) at our Small Business Summit in our nation's capital on October 2 and 3. We'll convene small businesses, large companies, academic organizations, local representatives, and other not-for-profits to share insights on a multitude of topics from scaling a business to hiring and team building to marketing your brand to protecting data networks.
