The CSIS Project on Prosperity and Development (PPD) would like to share a new article published in The Hill by Daniel F. CSIS convened a taskforce of high-level experts over the last year on the global forced migration crisis and produced a report (https://csis.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=833ec271d60c6750d9c3baaac&id=8c728797b3&e=e55aaf27de) addressing the issue. This article details the necessity of leadership in confronting the challenges of forced migration. The existing and forthcoming challenge of forced migration will not go away without meaningful action from the U.S. and other stakeholders. It is in the U.S. and our allies national security interests to form a committed global coalition to burden share and address the root causes of irregular and forced migration.
