China announced today that it would hit about $60 billion worth of U.S. exports with new tariffs in response to President Donald Trump's decision this week to potentially increase the levy on roughly $200 billion in imports from Beijing.

China's Ministry of Commerce said it would impose the tariffs at four different rates. The statement didn't detail what U.S. products would be targeted but said they would be implemented subject to U.S. action.
