Sestak Grabs Lead in Pennsylvania
A new DailyKos/Research 2000 poll in Pennsylvania finds Rep. Joe Sestak (D) leading Pat Toomey (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 43% to 40%.

A similar poll earlier this month had Toomey leading by five points.

Meanwhile, The Fix tries to argue that the controversy about Sestak being offered a job to leave his Senate primary was a "momentum killer."

Blumenthal Solidly Ahead of McMahon
A new DailyKos/Research 2000 survey in Connecticut finds Dick Blumenthal (D) crushing Linda McMahon (R) in the race for U.S. Senate by 19 points, 52% to 33%.

Rob Simmons, who dropped out of the race after losing his party's nomination to McMahon, doesn't fare much better and loses to Blumenthal, 52% to 37%.

Strickland Leads Kasich for Ohio Governor
A new Ohio Poll shows Gov. Ted Strickland (D) leading challenger John Kasich (R) in his re-election race, 49% to 44%, with another seven percent undecided.

Strickland's approval rate is now up to 55%, seven points higher than it was in October 2009.
