An unidentified individual yelled "gun" amid a commotion in the crowd at a Donald Trump rally in Reno, the Secret Service announced late Saturday, but no weapon was found in the area.

The scuffle that ensued at the front of Trump's packed rally led Secret Service agents to usher Trump offstage and created panic in the room. Agents apprehended a man who was at the center of the commotion.

"Upon a thorough search of the subject and the surrounding area, no weapon was found," the Secret Service said in a statement. "A thorough investigation is ongoing at this time by the U.S. Secret Service and the Reno Police Department."
