Dear Friends, While VoteVets continues to work through election day, I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you for your support of our programs. 2016 is the biggest cycle VoteVets has ever had. We are spending over $14 million between our PAC and VoteVets Action Fund. We've been working hard to add two veterans to the Senate in Missouri and Illinois. And we have been working on other pivotal Senate races in New Hampshire, Indiana, and Pennsylvania as well. Here is a glimpse of the spending in the last few weeks: Missouri: This week we went up with another $900,000 for Afghanistan War Veteran Jason Kander, bringing our total to $2.5 million this cycle. Indiana: Also in the past couple weeks, we went up with $1.5 million attacking Congressman Todd Young's votes against veterans. Nevada: An additional $675,000 last week brings our total NV spending to $1.7 million against Congressman Joe Heck. Military Families and Veteran Canvasses: Across Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida, we spent over $800,000, which by election day will amount to 3,000 shifts by veterans and military families and over 200,000 knocks. Candidates: This cycle VoteVets PAC raised and given over $360,000 in hard money for veteran candidates in a number of Senate and House districts. This includes $95,000 for Tammy Duckworth, $45,000 for Jason Kander, and - in just the last week - over $30,000 for Doug Applegate in his race against Darrell Issa in CA. It's been a historic cycle for VoteVets and we couldn't have done it without you. And now back to work - there's still much to do before election day!
