Subject: Quick update

The pressure test on the BOP did not start until late afternoon today, and the initial tests were only possible on one of the two lines. Testing will continue overnight and will (we hope) include testing on the second line. It is too early to make a determination, but the initial data indicates what you would hope for.

S1 scrutinized plan B,C, and D options today also and is comfortable with plan B if that becomes necessary. Scientist, Gov’t officials and the BP team will be meeting in the morning to compare analysis and decide on a path forward. We’ll no more then.
