Hey Guys,


Spoke with Scott from BBG this afternoon and got an update on WinTec:


1)The demonstration project that was supposed to happen yesterday is being
held up by permit issues with the EPA and other bureaucracies. In the
meanwhile, the CEO of WinTec was able to leverage his contacts in the
industry and get directly to BP (through Halliburton). WinTec is now in
talks with BP and doing additional tests in an effort to simulate current
conditions in the Gulf.


2) Scott is working with WinTec to subdivide their three main product
streams in an effort to better identify potential/ideal buyers.


In both instances, I let Scott know that we’re happy to and that he
shouldn’t hesitate to ask. He said for now things seem to be moving but
he’ll continue to keep us in the loop.


Not sure we should be more aggressive (or need to be), but my take is that
we’re fine for now.

FYI: WinTec manufactures an oil coagulant that they are hoping to utilize in
the Gulf. They are planning on having a test run in Corpus Christi on
Tuesday (5/18). They may want our help getting it in front of the right
people. Holding for the moment until the test run… White paper attached.
