If it is too expensive to send Naomi and Finnegan on Christine's flight which would be the preference? 1) Fly DCA to Newark and take a direct flight from Newark to Copenhagen that arrives within minutes of Christine's flight OR 2) Fly Air France from Dulles to Paris and change in Paris arriving in Copenhagen two hours after Christine Trying to figure out which is cheaper, but are both viable options or do I have to take option #2 off the table? Would you prefer they change planes in Newark or Paris? There is a potential to go on Continental and South African Air all the way instead of going on Air France. Both Continental and South African are Star Alliance members so 1) you would get miles and 2) perhaps have the option of upgrading using your United miles. Not sure about the upgrading though. Assuming price is not a big difference I assume you prefer Continental and South African? Eric D.
