I have been approached by PolyMet Mining, a publically traded mine
development company located in northeastern Minnesota. PolyMet is seeking
environmental permits to enable it to commence mining and processing of
various metals. However, the EPA awarded their Environmental Impact
Statement (EIS) the lowest rating possible and no permits. PolyMet has asked
my assistance in determining trends in the EPA’s rulings and the
Administration’s outlook on mining.
