See below for last email from Chafe with some updates. Some initial thoughts I have for Chafe on Thursday. The play with him is obviously tapping into his Taft Hartley network to raise money. At the same time, we don't want this to take up too much time where we are spending a lot of time that could be better spent on just raising money from other sources. For our interests it would be great to get you/Rosemont Seneca/Rosemont Realty added to the Advisory Board or as a Strategic Advisor. I think this costs committed dollars for most of the members, but the question is can we get on for free by offering up 1) The Rosemont Realty portfolio as a potential pilot test for some of the energy efficiency efforts they are trying to undertake and sell as best practices or 2) you on the Board as a better way to get more finance or labor partners involved and an indirect way of getting finance commitments. In our last conversation I got the sense that there was an option to have you involved if you could help them in non-monetary ways. Or do we think a little bigger and see if Chafe's group is interested in partnering on a retrofitting fund that would be raised alongside a Rosemont Realty fund. Or is it possible to carve out part of the fund that is currently envisioned being raised for retrofitting? Finally, do we talk to him about Kenny/McKinstry and see if they want to be part of that with us? Eric D. We are still finalizing partnerships for our market analysis and investor education platforms, and our consulting group business is growing by the week. I want to be sure we update each other on state of play and opportunities for collaboration or partnership. Please let me know if that week offers any good openings. Attached please see our updated schematics and governance board members- our consulting group is now a separate taxable 501c3 that will have its own smaller governance and a team of senior advisors who will act as account managers for particular client companies. We are currently serving 3 companies, one in industrial efficiency, one in recycling and waste management, and one manufacturer of a portable solar generation for the military and state clients. We hope to formalize the AFL CIO partnership, as well as sheet metal workers, the ibew, goldman sachs, and deutsche bank, by thanksgiving at the latest. Morgan Stanley also moving forward, as is boilermakers and we are just starting with UA. Persistence may pay off, as you can see we added Pegasus Capital and UAW since we last met, and added Richard Metcalf to our advisory board as well. Pedrotty has been a great asset and I look forward to putting him on our listing soon. Hope you and your families are well- Chris ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chris Chafe Executive Director Clean Economy Development Center 1757 N Street, NW - 5th Floor Washington, DC 20036 o - 202.659.6262 f - 202.659.6266 m - 646.734.2732 e - chris.chafe@cleaneconomycenter.org w - www.cleaneconomycenter.org
