The months following Election Day 2016 were filled with worry. I didn’t know if Donald Trump’s promises on the campaign trail were actual policies he wanted to put forth or hyperboles used to rile up his conservative followers.

But since taking office almost a year ago, Trump has suggested that women should be "punished" for having abortions, dismissed sexual harassment accusations against him, and discriminated against women by limiting their access to birth control.

Simply put, Trump has allowed direct attacks -- and directly attacked women himself -- every step of his presidency with no consequences. This is not right. Chip in now and join me in fighting back:

I’ve been awed by the incredible women who have stepped up and denounced inequality in their workplaces, said Me Too and Time’s Up, and who have fought against the injustices that women have faced for far too long.
