Wednesday - December 8, 2010 From the School Message from Lee Palmer Last week, I attended the National Association of Independent School (NAIS) People of Color Conference (PoCC) in San Diego with 16 other faculty, staff and administrators from all three divisions. Six Upper School students traveled with us to participate in the Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC), which runs concurrently with the PoCC. These students will act as peer facilitators for the Upper School diversity day in March, in which all students will engage in activities and workshops about diversity and inclusivity modeled after the SDLC.
