As an adult, I heartily endorse Maureen's plan, because she is also an adult.

Any adult coming to Bannockburn to hunt for a gift might want to look at a
special item that I would like to throw out as an idea (oops, too big to
throw). It is very large, has grey hair, and when wound up will stand in the
middle of a room saying "Too much stuff. Get rid of this. Get rid of that.
Too much stuff. Get rid of this. Get rid of that.. ." I caution you that
it may get on your nerves after you've listened to it a few million times, as it
is difficult to turn off. Also, the amount of paper needed to wrap it will be
an environmental issue. But on the up side, much like a good dog, its fun to
play with, because when you throw something out, it runs to the garbage and
fetches it back.

The fondest memories of Christmas food for me was at Fran and Dorothy's house
where Dorothy always had four things and forgot to serve two fo them.

Lets go with Italian Sausage and peppers. I actually also remember having a
fine feast at Johnny and Michele's that they served for another occasion. It was
Portillo's Italian beef, salads, and sausage.
