Good Thursday afternoon. FIRST IN PLAYBOOK -- HOUSE DEMOCRATIC CAUCUS CHAIRMAN JOE CROWLEY (D-N.Y.) signed a joint fundraising agreement with 12 Democratic candidates called the "Better Days Fund." The effort is focused on winning the House majority. Crowley has made a commitment to ask his personal supporters to give to these Democrats in their primaries and general elections. PAGING RON JOHNSON -- "The full 'secret society' text between FBI agents: Was it meant in jest?" by ABC News' Mike Levine: "For the past 24 hours, a number of Republican lawmakers have been suggesting that a months-old text message between two FBI officials reveals a 'secret society' of federal law enforcement officials clandestinely plotting against President Donald Trump. Lawmakers have refused to publicly release the full text message, sent the day after Trump won the 2016 presidential election. But ABC News has obtained a copy of the one message that Republicans appear to be citing, and it's unclear if the message's reference to a 'secret society' may have been made in jest.

In an interview, the Cuban-American senator said that with Republicans in full control of Washington, a gang of senators from each party will not dictate Congress' solution to protecting hundreds of thousands of young immigrants from deportation.

"'I don't believe that what we're going to end up doing here can be a product of a gang,' Rubio said. 'There won't be a 12-person gang. What we do here cannot be a product of a group of people that come out of a room and say: 'This is a direction we're going.''
