I am super-bummed to miss celebrating two phenomenal individual athletes
(and amazing women!) and the entire ’88 Volleyball Team! I remember all of
those volleyball games vividly as they chased after the state title and I
was in awe of the sheer athleticism of Robin and Amy and their fellow
teammates!! It was so fun to beat Ursuline and St. Mark’s never knew what
hit ‘em! My parents are coming to visit me up here in Boston that weekend
(which is why I can’t come), but the code to their home alarm is 1-9-8-8 so
just park in the back and use the side-deck for kegs if you need their crib
for the after-party.


I am still waiting for the Lifetime-Achievement-Style-“Golden Pom Pom” award
that I am sure is in the making for the cheerleader with the biggest hair
and whitest tretorns. I’ve been practicing my acceptance speech for years
and am certain the call will come any minute now with the news of my big
win.


Miss you all – come to Boston and visit me (in a few months when it’s a
little less chilly)! Please send pics of the big night and CONGRATS ONCE
AGAIN to ROBIN and AMY and the entire ’88 v-ball team!!!

Our class has not one, but two Aukettes going into Archmere’s Sports Hall of
Fame this year ..Amy Lewis Wise and Robin Prince Sachs. Also, they will be
recognizing the entire 1988 State Championship Volleyball Team. It would be
great to go as a class to show our support for them and celebrate their
athletic accomplishments. The times we are able to get the 88ers back
together are too few and this is the perfect opportunity for us to gather as
a class. It is also a good opportunity to extend the celebration and hit
Harry’s as a class afterwards for drinks!


You can register at the link below at a discounted rate vs. the price at the
door. Let me know if you are in on an after party as well so we can gauge
