Last night, during the State of the Union, I heard a lot of broken promises that I take personally, because they were made to Heartland families like mine.

I’ve seen my family, friends, and neighbors struggle -- without the guarantee of affordable health care and without the actual tax relief that they deserve -- under this administration’s misguided agenda.

And folks, I’ve had enough of it.

Our communities deserve better. That’s why I’m committed to bringing a new brand of leadership to Washington, but I’ll never get there unless we meet fundraising goals like tonight’s.
