As cold winter rain comes down on Hillsboro, Oregon, Dylan and Sara*, two young
people without stable homes, are looking at sleeping outside in the woods. At this
moment, they find HomePlate, an organization supporting young people who are homeless.
At HomePlate, they find Sean Fitzpatrick, our Jesuit Volunteer.

Thanks to Sean and his ability to connect Dylan and Sara with services, they are
accepted into a housing program. For the first time, they are living in stable
and secure places of their own.

Now they want to give back to others. As soon as they save a little bit more money
and have a few more chairs, Dylan and Sara are inviting everyone over for a big
celebratory meal - the housewarming party that never could have happened without
Jesuit Volunteer Sean Fitzpatrick.
