http://madmuseum.org/content/programs https://madmuseum.org/content/artist-studios-application There are just a few days left to apply to MAD’s Artist Studios Program. The Program offers studio space and financial support to one Artist Fellow and six Daily Residents for a six-month term, from August 2018 through January 2019. Applications for the Artist Studios Program are due this Monday, April 16. We encourage you and any eligible artists you may know to apply! APPLY NOW (http://madmuseum.org/content/artist-studios-application) https://madmuseum.org/content/artist-studios-application What is the Artist Studios Program? Reflecting MAD’s commitment to living artists and to contemporary craft practice, the Artist Studios Program hosts artists and designers daily in a live studio environment. Since its founding in 2008, the Artist Studios Program has supported the careers of over 150 artists and designers. What are the benefits of the Artist Studios Program? The full-time Artist Fellow receives a $15,000 stipend and dedicated studio space. The six Daily Residents receive a daily honorarium of $125 and a shared studio space. Residencies also include professional development and public engagement opportunities, and continued conversations with Artist Studios Program alumni. Who can apply? There are no fees or restrictions to apply for the Daily Residencies. Applicants for the Artist Fellowship must be NYC-based, 30 years of age or younger at the start of their fellowship, identify racially and/or culturally with a historically underrepresented community, and demonstrate the need for financial assistance to advance their artistic careers.
