According to the Virginia Department of Elections, 11,000 state residents under the age of 25 registered to vote for the first time last year. Nationally, young voters skewed Democratic by a wide margin -- nearly two-to-one in many states, including ours.

Change is in the air; you can feel it. Voters of all ages are tired of the divisions that have stalled progress on gun safety, affordable healthcare, and equal pay.

Thanks to our strong showing in last year’s races, we have changed the face of the Virginia House of Delegates. We’re seeing the potential for real bipartisan progress on issues such as Medicaid expansion.
