Right now, teachers across our state are protesting simply for fair and livable wages.


The Republican-controlled legislature and Governor Doug Ducey have done NOTHING to help and support our teachers, despite being the cause of the budgeting and resource shortages that have spiraled our public schools into crisis.


Republican candidate for House special election AZ08, Debbie Lesko, has remained silent on this issue and if elected in 12 days she will be just another rubber stamp for the GOP's anti-teacher agenda.


But we have a chance to Flip AZ08 and elect someone who will actually listen to our teachers- Democratic candidate Hiral joined the teachers in their march yesterday and will be a fierce advocate for strengthening Arizona's public education system.


Hiral knows that teachers are the backbone of our education system, and yet they are grossly underpaid. In order to strengthen Arizona we start with strengthening our future -- providing schools with the resources they need to offer a quality education to our students and providing the people that teach them, mentor them, and buy them supplies out of their own pockets, with a wage they can live on. We need an advocate like Hiral in Congress.


We're only 12 days away from the AZ08 election, and the consequences could not be more dire. Will you chip in $5 today?
