Greatly moved by your generosity and performance yesterday at McKenna Center. And so very thankful to each of you for your
contribution to the success of this event.

Alice, thanks for the vision and organizing the poetry and readers. Please pass my thanks along to each of
them and to Governor O'Malley.

Lisa Missenda, kudos to you for all you've done to help promote and prepare the way.

Patrick Armstrong, Bog & Gonzaga Emeritus, thanks for coming home for this one and lending your pipes. A great
start to the musical part of the program. I want a video of your pipe demonstration and will send to Aer Lingus....

Paul thanks for adding Holy Ground to the holy ground. Love the way you sing it.
Connie, a treat to hear you sing again. And thanks for bringing Katie Henderson - great fiddling!
Jeremy, thanks for bringing the guys and making the second half work so well. Great job coordinating with Governor O'Malley.

Guest fiddlers - thanks for adding your energy and sound - you played well and looked like you were having fun when you
stopped looking so terrified! Thanks for stepping up and being part of the action on stage. Dancers - thanks for showing us
once again why they're called "dance tunes." The Bog always goes better with Culkin and Dunne.

Parents, thanks for coming yourselves and for lending your talented children. If you have pictures that you're willing to share,
please forward to me here.

Myron, thanks for your introductions and helping to smooth transitions - you're an emcee with a capital MC. And Jesse,
thanks for making it all sound so good and adding your bodhran as well. Appreciate the backing in every sense of the word.

Lastly, thanks to Tom Howarth and staff of McKenna Center for all they do to provide a place for people to find
safety, warmth and sustenance whenever they're in need. Blessings and thanks to you Tom and your staff and to
Father Horace McKenna - his words that Tom read in closing give me hope.

Happy St. Patrick's all. It's not a day, it's a season. And the season is now! Thanks to all of you
for such a great beginning of this holy season.
