February 22, 2013: John Catsimatidis, a leading candidate for Mayor
of New York City, hosted an international lunch for the Foreign
Minister of Greece Dimitris Avromopoulos yesterday at New York's
storied "21 Club." A staple of Catsimatidis' stump speech since his
announcement in late January is that New York leaders must continue
to instill confidence nationally and internationally in order to
continue the flow of investments and tourism.

Catsimatidis said "New York is the only major city in the United
States which has seen an increase in population over the past decade.
Companies send their investment dollars here, tourists come here,
parents send their children here because New York City is safe and
the Mayors have been leaders who understand business and the
importance of safe streets."

Catsimatidis emmigrated to the United Sates with his parents as an
infant. His fortune started off in business with a small supermarket
opened while still in college and now has grown to include the
largest supermarket chain in New York City, petroleum refineries,
real estate and real estate development as well as the airline
business. From very humble beginnings, Catsimatidis is now placed
high on Forbes list of the world's wealthest.

Catsimatidis made it clear at his lunch for the Foreign Minister, if
elected Mayor, New York City will continue to be a magnet for world
commerce, and along with the flow of investment the creation of
"jobs, jobs, jobs" he vows for the future of New York. Foreign
