Hello Team Sky parents,


Friday February 22 is the second and last hangout for the 8th grade class.
Our last hangout was well attended with about 50-60 kids, but sadly we were
very short on parent volunteers. The school requires 10-12 parent volunteers
for this kind of event, so with your help we would like to plan ahead and
get this lined up well in advance!


Team Sky is in need of four parents who can solidly commit to coming and
helping with set up, supervising and cleaning up. The event is in the Wannan
gym, from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm, with overflow outside (hopefully the
weather will cooperate!). As before, we will order pizza, ice cream, and
drinks, and these will be set up on tables located outside the athletic
center. In addition, the service component of this event involves the
children writing personalized thank you notes to about 50 service staff.
Sally will supply the list of names and grade parents will supply the
materials (notecards, pens, a small gift).


A couple of parents should plan on arriving a bit earlier for set up (~3:00
pm) and those parents who will help clean up should plan on staying until
about 5:30 pm.
