LAS VEGAS-FIRST IN SCORE - WITH SUPER BOWL AD, HOEKSTRA WILL ATTACK STABENOW ON DEBT:Michigan Republican Senate candidate Pete Hoekstra will spend $144,000 to air an ad in Michigan during this Sunday's Super Bowl that hits incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow on her past votes for deficit spending. It's a Fred Davis production so expect it to be buzzy and potentially viral on Monday. Fred is the ad maker who gave us "One tough nerd," "King Rat," and "Demon Sheep." This is Hoekstra's first big buy of the cycle.

"But Romney's dominance in Nevada goes well beyond that," Democratic pollster Tom Jensen explains. "He's winning voters describing as 'very conservative,' a group he's had huge amount of trouble with in other states, by a 43-34 margin over Gingrich. He's also winning men, women, Hispanics, whites, and every age group that we track. This will be a pretty thorough victory for him." HOW IT'S PLAYING IN TODAY'S LAS VEGAS REVIEW JOURNAL:Nevada's biggest newspaper gives the endorsement a big splash as the centerpiece of page 1. The sub-headline: "Billionaire's move surprises Gingrich supporters who expected the nod."
