Dear friends and loved ones:


Emily and I are delighted to announce that we recently received the biggest
surprise of our both of our lives. On Monday, in our otherwise routine
first ultrasound, we watched with amazement not only Baby A-but Baby
B!-enthusiastically kicking. We immediately understood just why Emily has
been both so incredibly exhausted and so ravenous the last few weeks. Our
doctor also thinks there's a good chance that we are having identical boys!
But we won't know for sure until our next ultrasound appointment in three
weeks.


We couldn't be more thrilled, and we welcome all advice, insight, and war
stories about raising (possibly identical) twins.
