AWEA HIRES JAMES REILLY: Via POLITICO's Alex Guillen: The American Wind Energy Association has hired James D. Reilly, Sen. Tom Carper's chief of staff, as its new senior vice president for federal legislative affairs. The announcement comes just days after the Senate Finance Committee approved a two-year revival of the wind production tax credit, though whether the extension can make it through Congress remains unclear. Reilly has been chief of staff to the Delaware Democrat since 2007 and will move to the wind industry group by the end of the month. Eric D.
