Hey, been emailing with ASM. Beau is coming to DC next week (you are in Chicago and it is the only date he has) and wants to start doing some fundraising/cultivation lunches in DC on a regular basis. Alex asked who we thought he should do first. My suggestion was that it would make sense to do a small core group lunch (thinking Putala, Hoopes, Steel, Peck and maybe Smitty) where Beau could talk about what he's thinking and task them each with coming up with a couple of big fish for Beau to cultivate this year. As I understand it a State PAC is definitely on the table and the thinking may be it would be good to find like four people to each put in $25K to seed it. Thoughts? Otherwise, I can't think of one particular person that Beau should meet with first and this has been a key group for him. Can you? (Adrienne Arsht? At one point maybe Hilary Rosen would be good, but I think this strategy group may be a good first step.)
