Secretary Clinton will convene a Global Chiefs of Mission conference next week in Washington, DC with U.S. Ambassadors from nearly every U.S. Embassy in the world. BCIU is privileged to announce programs with all six regional bureaus (Africa, East Asia & Pacific, Europe & Eurasia, Near East, South & Central Asia, and the Western Hemisphere) to occur on Monday, January 31st and Tuesday, February 1st. These are the final days to register for programs featuring diplomats from 181 countries. The recall of all U.S. Ambassadors at one time to Washington is unprecedented. BCIU has arranged the following events and activities with the U.S. Chiefs of Mission: To register please go to www.bciu.org/globalchiefsofmission<http://www.bciu.org/globalchiefsofmission> EUROPE AND EURASIA January 31, 2011 Reception: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Participation Fee: $75 members; $125 non-members AFRICA Co-hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) February 1, 2011 Panel and Luncheon: 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Participation Fee: $125 non-members WESTERN HEMISPHERE February 1, 2011 Policy Forum on Brazil and the Southern Cone: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (no charge) Luncheon: 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Participation Fee: $100 members; $200 non-members SOUTH AND CENTRAL ASIA February 1, 2011 Reception: Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Participation Fee: $75 members; $125 non-members NEAR EAST February 1, 2011 Reception: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Participation Fee: $75 for members; $125 non-members EAST ASIA AND PACIFIC February 1, 2011 Reception: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Participation Fee: $75 members; $125 non-members Please note that receptions taking place simultaneously will occur at the same venue. Participation in multiple events is permitted and encouraged though separate registration and payment is required. For security purposes, venue details will be released only to confirmed participants closer to the date of the event. This is a unique gathering of all U.S. Chiefs of Mission.
