Bryan,
Hope all is well and the move back has been smooth for you. I know Chris also emailed or spoke to you about Olivia Field- Louisa Terrell's daughter applying for admission into 7th grade.
For what it is worth I just wanted to say that I've known Louisa since I was in kindergarten at Wilmington Friends and she has remained a friend of mine and my brother's ever since. She also worked for my Dad in the Senate and at the White House. Louisa is an amazing person with deep roots in the Quaker tradition, and I'm certain Olivia would be a great addition to the Sidwell community.
In the fifteen years we have been at Sidwell I don't think I've ever sent an email like this- knowing that the admission process is probably the biggest downside of any head of school. But, in this case I just wanted to let someone know that having Olivia and her family at Sidwell would be a great addition to the community.
On another note, we are overdue for your welcome back to DC dinner (as Chris suggested) if you and your wife can find the time. Let me know- and try to stay warm over the weekend. Best, Hunter
