Celebrating 60 years in service to others JVC Northwest is humbled and filled with gratitude to have walked alongside those on the margins for the past 60 years: 60 years of addressing community needs and challenging volunteers to embrace the call to serve others. In May we gathered as a community in Seattle, WA to celebrate this milestone; this month we will do the same in Portland, OR. And although we expect to connect in person with over 600 current and former volunteers and friends of JVC Northwest at these events, we know there are so many others who will be gathering with us in spirit. For this year of service, gratitude.” –JV Maddie Regan (Seattle, WA ‘16-17) What impact can a dollar make? $100 per month covers the cost of a non-AmeriCorps JV’s personal stipend $500 supports one JV throughout Orientation $1,000 helps to cover maintenance of a JV house for one year $2,500 is the cost of a vocational discernment retreat for former JVs $5,000 supports the monthly community meetings for JV EnCorps for an entire year!
