Hello parents,


Confirmation Session 3 is scheduled for *Wednesday, February 25 from 7-9pm*.
This is for Candidates only. Pizza and drinks will be served at 6:30pm in
the Upper School Cafeteria.


I also wanted to remind you all of the connection between Confirmation and
service: That each confirmed Christian has a calling and a responsibility
to serve as a living example of Jesus' teachings. This is why 20 hours is
part of the preparation program. The service hour log and reflection
guidelines are attached. The service log needs to be attached to the final
reflection which is due on May 1. (This was included in the initial
registration packet.) Contact me for additional information.

1. Service should reflect work done beyond the usual chores and duties
done at home

2. Service should be directed to people in the community, i.e.
*human-to-human
interaction*

3. Service should not have any financial compensation.


*February Service Opportunities*

-Thursday, 2/19 from 3:30-5:30- Office help is needed in the Religious Ed
office. *(contact Justine to sign-up**)*

- Saturday, 2/21, from 8:00am-12:30pm- Saturday Service club will help with
leading second graders through a First Eucharist workshop at Holy Trinity.
Check in participants, set up classrooms, assist with the sessions, and
more. Lunch will be provided. *(contact Justine to sign-up by Thursday,
February 19 at noon)*
