A campaign staffer spotted the reporter typing on a laptop outside of the press pen at the San Jose Convention Center and asked the reporter, who was attending on a general admission ticket, if he had press credentials. The Trump campaign has refused to credential the reporter for multiple events. Minutes after the ejection, the campaign sent the reporter an email, denying credentials to Trump's Friday rally in Redding, California." http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=fb483edc0701b6c89f026714a4a351b7534029d9af06b5b3aef8aea489cbb306 ALSO HASSLED: Carla Marinucci (@cmarinucci), author of Politico's California Playbook, and California's best-known state-politics reporter: "Strange: Trump staffer approaches & says, 'I've been told you are here to disrupt this rally.' @CAGOP vice chair @pnjaban vouched for me ... @realDonaldTrump staffer then orders me not to talk to people or interview them in general area where we sit. 1st Amendment suspended?" --DRUDGE banner, "TRUMP SUPPORTERS TERRORIZED BY MOB" --San Jose Mercury News, top of p. 1, "War of words spills into streets: TEMPERS FLARE AT TRUMP RALLY -- GOP hopeful blasts Clinton as protesters, backers clash," by Matthew Artz, Julia Prodis Sulek and Katrina Cameron: "Protesters jumped on cars, while others burned red 'Make America Great' hats and took selfies with the charred remains.
