Talked to Evan and she got another woman that works for her on the phone. So, effective October 2014, Embassy Port au Prince, transitioned to an online appointment system. All US Embassies are doing so over time. It is now very easy. They go online to the site below and sign up for an interview. They have to pay a fee in advance to schedule the interview but the system should give them the option of scheduling their own appointment for a time that works for them right online. Since this system went into effect in October they may not be aware of it and may have been the reason they think they can’t get an appointment. If they called the Embassy they can’t schedule appointments anymore. It is all outsourced to this website. Let me know if this helps. > http://haiti.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html <http://haiti.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html> Eric D.
