Oh he's just as greedy - he wants those donors and (IMO rightly) doesn't want to pay Mary Pat to get them. The fact that he went to the press with the dirty details of her operation shows he's willing blow everything up to consolidate his power. Wish he had done that last cycle, honestly. But this couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of assholes.
