There are a lot of reasons I'm so excited my friend Kamala Harris is running for Senate in California, starting with this: her leadership on reforming our criminal justice system.

As a career prosecutor, Kamala has long called for a smarter approach to reducing crime and promoted alternatives to our failed system of mass incarceration.

I'm eager for Kamala Harris to join me in the Senate, where I know she will be important ally in passing criminal justice reform legislation. And that's one good reason why you should sign up now to support her campaign.
