I went to the WH on Friday to meet with Meghan Smith who is a good friend and now Chief Technology Officer for the Administration. She was formerly head of business development and acquisition, and google.org, and then started Google X.
I went to discuss our idea of helping CSIS design a food security/ national security "idea lab" and convening space. She was super into the idea and said she would help in any way she could. She had about a million ideas and tons of really interesting tech people she wanted to connect us with.
