Hunter, unfortunately, neither LIz nor I found out about this until just
before practice this morning, and the coaches were trying to get the regatta
organizer to let our 2 boats in, to no avail. It is unfortunate and
completely frustrating on a number of fronts. On a personal note, I'm

Surprised the Race Organizers can't add another heat to accommodate us.
The river limitations based on construction is quite flimsy. Seems to
me the ONLY limitation of adding another heat would be extending the
length in time of the regatta.
This is truly unfortunate for all.

Dear Parents and Rowers,
We just learned last night that there was an administrative mix up with our
entries for the regatta tomorrow. The result is that we will not be able to
race. The organizers admitted the mistake was theirs but are now unable to
fit us
