For Discussion
So, we need to make some decisions on these potential clients of Transatlantic's tomorrow. From my talks with Lorenzo today, here is what is on the table.
Iberdrola - upfront $100K, which would be $50K to us. Apparently, the $300K would be paid at the end of the contract regardless of "success". So

August Vacation Flight Questions to Answer
If it is too expensive to send Naomi and Finnegan on Christine's flight which would be the preference?
1) Fly DCA to Newark and take a direct flight from Newark to Copenhagen that arrives within minutes of Christine's flight OR
2) Fly Air France from Dulles to Paris and change in Paris arriving in

Re: For Discussion
Agreed 100%. If we did that - it would be $53,500 a month to us (assuming all the non-written offers actually materialize). And Transatlantic would STILL be making more than us - they'd be making $73,500 plus having 75% of the equity in Ormazabal. But that is understandable as they brought in Ormaza

Re: For Discussion
I think its:
A. sign CAF (15k), drop Talgo and kick Ormazabal in (10k) = 25k per month (+ 1% if a reality)
or;
B. sign Talgo (15k) and TA subs CAF work to us for fee (10 - 15k) = $25k - $30k per month

Re: For Discussion
I vote "A" but I want to see CAF's written offer with my own two eyes before dropping Talgo. Also, keep in mind, CAF and Ormazabal are paying in Euros - we could be hit with an exchange rate issue. Euros are good today and if CAF pays up front that's to our advantage, but long term it is a potential

Homeless ergs
It's exam time, it's 90 degrees outside...it must be time to take an erg home! Our ergs need to find homes untill we can figure out where we can store them in the new gym. If your family would be interested in having an erg temporarily (you can even use it!), please let me know. The ergs break into

Re: August Vacation Flight Questions to Answer
That's what I thought. Let me get Scott that info and have him work on the
pricing. It may be more expensive by a few thousand dollars. The Air
France pricing didn't work well if Naomi and Finn need to arrive around same
time as Christine. We may want to look at the option of one of the shorter
legs

Re: For Discussion
Agreed, agreed, agreed. I told L that we need to see CAF written offer
tomorrow and decide tomorrow before you leave for Africa. He said that was
doable. Hunter, I think you and I should call L tomorrow morning and
reiterate. I, too, worry that Talgo thinks we are already working for them
and think
